When I first tasted this wine, the only thing I wrote down in my notes was "YUM!" with 4 checkmarks next to it... so it must be good, right?

In all seriousness, Raul Perez's 2020 Godello has really great acid and is nicely balanced out by a really appealing richness/roundness on the palate. Peachy, citrusy, briney and just a freakin delight to drink!

About the Producer
Raul Perez is a really interesting winemaker and producer who was born into a winemaking family but certainly marches to the beat of his own drum. His wine is very true to its time and place, and is also just absolutely delicious.
