Bordeaux blanc is so insanely delicious and so wildly underrated...this one is no exception. This beautifully aromatic wine is loaded with notes of stone fruit and citrus. Think Meyer lemons, nectarines & juicy white peaches.
About the Producer
Les Dunes du Cap-Ferret, located in the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers region of Bordeaux has been in the Barthe family for 7 generations since 1789. The present owner and oenologist of this 75-hectare estate, Veronique Barthe, inherited the chateau in 1990 and is the first female winemaker in the family history. She is now producing award winning wines. 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Semillon from 25 year old vines on clay and limestone soils. Veronique and her husband Philippe also own the prestigious Château d’Arcole in Saint-Èmilion, the first organic and biodynamic vineyard in Bordeaux.
