Riesling just does not get the respect it deserves. The inaccurate/ old reputation about it being low quality sweet wine is just simply not true and I am on a desperate mission to spread the word that Riesling is freaking delicious and deserves a fresh look. It's extremely versatile; it can be made into bone dry wines, lusciously sweet wines or even crisp and textured sparkling.
This particular Riesling from the Finger Lakes is dry, fermented with indigenous yeasts and is loaded with notes of juicy peaches, apples and citrus. It has a beautiful mineral finish and will age gracefully.
