Graciano is a somewhat lesser-known grape variety with Spanish origins, primarily cultivated in the Rioja region and Castila La Mancha Spain. Known for its deep, dark color and vibrant acidity, the Graciano grape is often used for blending--adding depth & character to wine. On its own, it shines.

Full of complexity and structure - with cherries, dark strawberries, white pepper and baking spices (due to oak aging). This bottle is perfect for those seeking a unique and bold wine experience.

To add to its uniqueness, Graciano grapes are what's called “late harvest” grapes. Meaning, they are not picked from the vines until October, 1-2 months after your typical harvest. The benefit is a more concentrated and enjoyable sugar content; you can serve this wine with a slight chill and it will open beautifully.

All grapes grown on this vineyard are processed separately to highlight the personality of each village. Woman winemaker and owned, Bodegas Arrayan created this special project based on environmentally-friendly vine-growing practices. Fermentation occurs spontaneously using the grapes’ natural yeasts, without any added products.
